Meenakshi.[1] He has two siblings, an elder sister Gayathri and a younger sister.[1] Tippu did his schooling at the Kamaraj Matric School, Old Washermenpet and the St. John&#;s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Alwarthirunagar, Tamil Nadu.
Tippu is married to playback singer Harini. He has two children, a girl named Sai Smruti and a boy, Sai Prathyankar. He has sung songs for Illayaraja and many songs for DSP and Harris Jayaraj. He is very famous for Voice modulation and Articulated rendition in all languages.
