Dolly Parton Now: Singer’s Husband Dies at Age 82
Dolly Parton’s husband of nearly six decades, Carl Dean, died on March 3 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 82 years old. The country music legend announced his death on social media but didn’t provide a cause of death.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years,” Parton wrote in a statement. A devoted husband, Dean was a reserved man who stayed out of the spotlight despite his wife’s massive stardom.
