NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital in Nagpur, named after an eminent economist and former central government minister, Honorable Late Shri NKP Salve, was founded in at Sitabuldi with a commitment to health for all. The Institute was founded in Sitabuldi and later relocated to Digdoh Hills on Hingna Road.

There is a common hostel for girls and boys pursuing post-graduation course. The hostels are named as Sahayadri, Satpuda, Narmada, Vainganga, Vindyachal, and Gangasagar respectively. The hostels rooms are well-equipped with modern facilities such as clean drinking water, basic furnitures, etc. The hostel has basic amenities such as dining halls, common room, etc., and the hostel mess provides breakfast, lunch and dinner to the students. There is a centralized kitchen where the food is prepared and distributed to all the hostels in the campus. When it comes to the washroom facilities, maximum hostels have attached toilets with each room and few hostel roomshave common toilets on each floor.
