Jackie has toured nationally with Gov't Mule, Los Lobos, Mark Knopfler, B.B. King, Phil Lesh, Ratdog, Huey Lewis, Susan Tedeschi, Taj Mahal, Buddy Guy and has played major U.S. festivals, including All Good, Gathering of the Vibes, Mountain Jam, Grateful Garcia Gathering, Newport Jazz, Newport Folk, South by Southwest, Wakarusa, Winnipeg Folk, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Rothbury. He has performed with Levon Helm at several Midnight Rambles.

I just can’t emphasize enough how talented these guys are! Jackie and Nate played together for a solid hour and a half. It was a smallish audience and so they played mostly requests. The audience and the guys were enjoying the music! The Grey Eagle is such a great intimate venue! These guys are so personable too. Nate was breaking down their equipment afterward but stopped to chat and give a photo. And Jackie was chilling outside and chatted with guests as well. I had such a blast! You gotta check them out!

Whether solo, with a full band, featuring in another’s or like this show, just jamming with his long time mate Nathan Dale. Jackie remains arguably my favorite singer. His ability on the guitar, piano, harmonica, etc is so underrated. He’s never written a bad lyric or sang an off note in the 20 years I’ve followed him. He Also happens to be the best cover song singer/player and best glue guy on stage, ever. He’s just a 5 star everything! IYKYK and I Can’t wait to see him again and again.
